3 Days 2 Nights Baku Tour With Roundtrip Airport Transfer

In the 1st day, after greeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel, guests will discover the special beauty of Baku in the evening from different view and see panoramic perspectives of Baku from Highland Park and the main attractions such as Heydar Aliyev Cultural center, Baku Conference center, Boulevard, Little Venice, Carpet Museum, Flame Towers. We will begin our exploration at Highland Park, located on the northern edge of Baku’s city center. This elevated park offers panoramic views of the city, the Caspian Sea, and the Flame Towers. The Flame Towers, a trio of skyscrapers designed by HOK, are a modern architectural marvel. Standing at heights of 182m, 165m, and 161m, they are covered with over 10,000 LED screens that display dynamic light shows, including flames and the Azerbaijani flag. From Highland Park, descend to Martyrs’ Lane, a solemn memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives during significant events in Azerbaijan’s history, including the Black January 1990 tragedy and the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The Eternal Flame Monument, inaugurated in 1998, stands at the entrance, symbolizing the nation’s gratitude and remembrance. Continue your journey to the Baku Crystal Hall, an indoor arena situated near the Caspian Sea. Completed in 2012, it hosted the Eurovision Song Contest that year . Adjacent to the hall is the National Flag Square, home to the world’s largest flag, measuring 70 meters by 35 meters . Nearby, the Baku Ferris Wheel, also known as the Baku Eye, stands at 60 meters tall and offers stunning views of the city and coastline. The general tour duration will cover about 2 to 3 hours by the explanation of professional guide. We complete the tour here and return back to the hotel. Guests are dropped of the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

The 2nd day is about the past, present, and future of Baku. This guided city tour will take the guests to Azerbaijan’s most fascinating locations such as Old City (Icherisheher), Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center and Baku Boulevard to learn about the evolution of the city from the 5th century through the Soviet era and on to independence. We start the tour from the Old City-Icherisheher by walking with the explanation of professional expert guide. House of Baku Khans – residence of local rulers before Russian annexation; Museum of Ethnography and Archaeology – offering insights into Azerbaijani daily life, culture, and ancient history; historic 14th-century structure – Multani Caravanserai – built for traders from Multan; Bukhara Caravanserai -hosted merchants from Central Asia and built in the 15th–16th centuries;  Maiden Tower (Qız Qalası) – iconic 12th-century monument with mysterious origins;  St. Bartholomew Church – small ruins near the Maiden Tower and believed to be the burial site of the Apostle Bartholomew; Juma Mosque – one of the oldest mosques in Baku dating back to 12th century and rebuilt 1899; Muhammad Mosque – oldest mosque in Baku built in 11th century; Qasim Bey Hammam – a 17th-century public bathhouse and example of historical Islamic bathing culture; Aliagha Vahid Monument – a striking sculpture of a famous Azerbaijani poet and known for its surreal, tree-like design; Miniature Book Museum – a unique collection of over 8,000 tiny books; Palace of the Shirvanshahs – 15th-century royal complex and the jewel of Icherisheher includes palace, mosque, bathhouse, and tombs; Quadrangular Tower – also called the “Round Tower” by some, but it’s actually square; Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre – designed by Zaha Hadid, this iconic building is a masterpiece of modern architecture; Baku Boulevard – scenic promenade perfect for a leisurely walk, offering views of the Caspian Sea and the city skyline; Azerbaijan Carpet Museum – housed in a building designed to resemble a rolled carpet, this museum showcases over 10,000 items, including carpets, textiles, and applied arts; Little Venice – charming area featuring canals and gondola rides, providing a tranquil escape within the city; Nizami Street – bustling pedestrian avenue lined with shops, cafes, and historic buildings, ideal for shopping and people-watching; Fountain Square – lively public space surrounded by fountains, restaurants, and boutiques, perfect for a relaxing break.
